monsters. The aim was to create a mosaic of images.

Urbanitas

2004
Photographs
on foam board.
These
photographs were exhibited in "Urbanitas"
in August 2004. A group exhibition of Reading,
UK artists which took place at the Muzeul de Arta
in the coastal city of Constanta in Romania.
The
demolished building and rubble were exhibited
in Constanta. The ruin was originally the Central
Cinema on Friar Street, Reading. The cinema was
destroyed to make way for a characterless monolithic
hotel originally touted as being called "The
Picture House."
The
other two photographs, also taken in Reading,
were exhibited alongside the Central Cinema photographs
in a second Urbanitas exhibition which took place
at the Muzeul
de Arta in Brasov in April 2006. |
